How to care for your lace wig?

Wigs come with detailed instructions from the manufacturer that should be followed. When not in use, store your wig on a mannequin or wig stand to maintain its shape and wash only when necessary (roughly once every 10-14 days of wear, but more often if your lifestyle or environment calls for it). Proper care is one of the keys to keeping your wigs, hairpieces and hair extensions looking fabulous. Love your hair and it will love you back!

How should I wash my wig?

Human hair wigs should be washed every two weeks or 14 full-day wears, since daily washing will cause the wig to deteriorate. Just as you would do your own hair, please use high quality shampoo and conditioner.

1. Before shampooing, use a detangling comb, to gently remove tangles from the hair. 2. Fill basin with lukewarm water and some shampoo. Place hair so that it lays flat, with all of the hair fibers facing the same direction, so as to prevent detangling. Do not rub shampoo vigorously. Soak for 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. 3. Refill basin with cool water and some conditioner. Soak for another 15-20 minutes. Rinse well. Just like with your own natural hair, treatments are a great way to enhance longevity and add moisture to the hair. When using a treatment try to keep the treatment in as long as possible. Human hair wigs are versatile and can be styled anyway you wish.
